The International Conference on Software Maintenance and Evolution is the premier international forum for researchers and practitioners from academia, industry, and government to present, discuss, and debate the most recent ideas, experiences, and challenges in software maintenance and evolution. ICSME'24 will take place in Flagstaff, Arizona
. This grant is funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF) to support student travel to the conference. Because of this, the funds from this grant can be used solely for students at U.S.-based universities and colleges, with preferences given to U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and underrepresented categories.
All accepted applicants will be required to provide a report detailing their experience at the conference and how their participation benefitted their professional development. The insights from these reports will be included in the reporting for the grant and may also be shared with the chairs of the ICSME'24 conference, in order to improve its future editions, while keeping the identity of the students that shared those insights strictly anonymous.
Please provide your information, CV, and advisor recommendation letter. The recommendation letter from the student’s advisor should confirm the student’s eligibility and endorse the student for the travel grant to attend ICSME 2024. The letter should address the student’s need for support (i.e., lack of existing grant support).
