Middle School Digital Photography Summer Enrichment Program 2021 Registration Form
Students will be provided materials for the course as needed.
In this class students will learn basic photography tips and techniques using a Digital Single Lens Reflex camera, including features unique to digital cameras and basic photo editing. The class will include plenty of hands-on practice and several photo walks around the school, and in the community. Students will also develop and practice a variety of technology skills using digital photography tools (like Pixlr) and the internet. The class will also focus on the design and revision process - planning, drafting, copy-editing, and, finally, publishing.
**The digital photography class will be held in accordance with 4J School District COVID safety protocols. Including the practice of social distancing and required PPE.**

Times: Session #1 - 9:30am-11:00am
Session #2 - 1:00pm-2:30pm
Location: Arts & Technology Academy & nearby community spaces
Grades: 5-8
Prerequisites: You must be able to handle delicate technology responsibly, and be trusted to follow along during short trips into the community to take pictures
Session Placement: Placement in each session will be done through a combination of self selection & current teacher recommendations.
