PARENT ASSOCIATION (EXPEDITED) ELECTIONS (2022-2023 SCHOOL YEAR)

Nominate yourself (or another parent) as a candidate for the 2022-2023 Parent Association Executive Board.
ALL MANDATORY/NON-MANDATORY POSITION & RESPONSIBILITIES:
President (OPEN):
- Manages the PA.
- Creates PA meeting agenda.
- Presides over meetings.
- Delegates responsibilities
- Represents PA/School at council/district meetings
- Signatory on PA bank accounts.
Treasurer (OPEN)
- Accounts for all PA funds.
- Makes payments on behalf of PA.
- Manages PA receipts and books.
- Completes Interim/EOY Financial Report.
- Signatory on PA bank account.
Secretary (OPEN)
- Manages PA records.
- Records minutes at meetings.
- Disseminates PA meeting agenda to members.
Vice President (non-mandatory) (OPEN)
- Head of a committee.
- Oversees PA fundraisers, events etc.
- Represents PA/School in President's absence.
POSITIONS NEEDED TO FACILITATE ELECTIONS & THEIR RESPONSIBILITIES:
ELECTION CHAIRPERSON - Facilitates election, takes nominations, closes elections.
NOTE TAKER - Acts as election secretary, takes notes (minutes) for elections.
