About the Event: 'The Role of Islamophobia in Sustaining Abuse in Muslim Communities'
This panel event will examine the role Islamophobia plays in sustaining abuse in Scottish Muslim communities. By drawing on current research conducted by Sacred (body.mind.space) and bringing it together with the research and experiences of panel members, the event hopes to engage in a conversation about how Muslim survivors are impacted by this reality and how key stakeholders can begin to understand and address the wider impact of Islamophobia.
