Registration for "Big MCGs at BC"
This is the registration form for the summer workshop "Big MCGs at BC", to be held at Boston College, in Chestnut Hill, MA from Aug 1--5. Each participant will give an expository talk on a paper chosen ahead of time in conversation with the organizers, see below. We will have room for 15-20 participants, and each participant is guaranteed travel funding (up to $700 domestic, $1300 international, but contact us if it is more) and free accommodation. The workshop is NSF funded, which means that travelers from Europe that are seeking flight reimbursement are allowed to use most, but not all, EU airlines.

For full consideration, please register by June 1.

Papers *
Please indicate at least 5 of the papers below that you would not mind reading and presenting. Please be generous in your selections. We will only ask you to present one paper, but we need to have some flexibility so that we can give everyone a different paper. Some of the papers below contain a number of results, and it will sometimes be possible to present just some of the paper, if other parts of the paper require background unfamiliar to you. For convenience, we've sorted the papers into categories. AC = "Arc and curve graph, coarse geometry," H = "hyperbolic geometry," G="Group Theory," C="Circle Actions", T="translation surfaces", P="Polish groups".

Other ideas or restrictions
If you have suggestions for papers to include that are not on the list above, please list them here. Note, though, that we will be choosing papers that are particularly important in their fields, without being overly technical, and we want the workshop to have a relatively tight theme. You can also indicate here if there is a general class of papers above that you feel more/less comfortable with. We want to work with you to pick a topic that you will enjoy and get something out of.
