By attending any peer-led support group (Group) meeting using the curriculum or methods (the System) of Happy Teacher Revolution, LLC (HTR), the undersigned participant (Participant or You) hereby acknowledges the following:The Group is organized and led by peers who likely will not have any background, professional training, or licensing in mental health, grief counseling or crisis management matters;While HTR may have provided the Group leader with certain information or resources in connection with the System and the conduct of these meetings, and HTR staff may coordinate or lead Group meetings, HTR is not responsible for the content of the meetings, the discussions that occur at the meetings or the privacy of any information (including information that Participant shares) that is disclosed at the meetings;Neither HTR nor any other participant (including any Group leader) will be providing, or is authorized to provide, medical advice, diagnosis or treatment; You understand that sensitive and sometimes traumatic and personal events may be disclosed by You or other participants or discussed by the Group.  Such events may be disturbing to You.  HTR is not responsible for the content of these discussions or the effects that such discussion may have on any participant.The opinions shared at any Group meeting, including the opinions of the Group leader (even if such Group leader is a member of the HTR staff), are of the individuals themselves and are not attributable to or endorsed by HTR in any way;The actions taken by any participant (including any Group leader or member of the HTR staff) at any Group meeting are solely the actions of that individual and are not the actions of HTR; andWhile HTR will urge all participants to maintain the confidentiality of the matters discussed at any meeting, such confidentiality cannot be ensured and HTR is not responsible for the disclosure of any such information by any participant.In no event shall HTR, or its officers, directors, members, owners, managers, employees, agents or representatives be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages, however caused and on any theory of liability, whether in contract, strict liability, tort (including negligence or otherwise), or any other theory arising in any way out of the use of the System or the attendance by a Participant at a meeting.  This disclaimer of liability applies to any damages or injury, whether based on alleged breach of contract, tortuous behavior, negligence or any other cause of action, including but not limited to damages or injuries caused by any failure of performance, error or omission.
