Mindful May- How can mindfulness solve the social and health challenges of the 21st century?

Rob Moodie is a medical doctor, one time head of VicHealth, and now Professor of Global Health at the Nossal Institute of Global Health at the University of Melbourne. Rob has been a long-term practitioner of mindfulness which he has used to help him balance the challenges of demanding working and homelife. He won Victorian parent of the year in 2005.

Rob has a wealth of experience in working with indigenous communities in Australia as well as with refugees and in developing countries particularly in Africa. Rob will be sharing his insights in how mindfulness has helped him in his work and what potential it holds on the global stage in meeting some of the social and health challenges facing the world in the 21st century.
