Team Application
Read below for more information on the SURJ teams.

PEER REVIEW:
Peer Reviewers assess the strengths and weaknesses of research articles. They evaluate every aspect of the article, including methodology, analysis, conclusions, scope, structure and clarity and write a short critique that provides a recommendation to the SURJ Editorial Board as to whether the article should be accepted or rejected. Peer Reviewers will have a two week time period to review 2-3 articles. Peer Reviewers must attend at least one of two training sessions being held on Saturday October 23 or Saturday October 30. Two "waves" of Peer Review will be held for each wave of submissions: one in November, and one in February.

COPY EDITING:
Copy Editors ensure that accepted articles in the journal are grammatically sound and properly cited. They are responsible for attending copy editing team meetings, developing familiarity with SURJ's stylistic conventions, and editing accepted articles in a timely manner. Copy editors will be matched as closely as possible to articles within their disciplines. This position is perfect for someone who loves grammar and/or editing, wants to hone their writing skills, or is interested in participating in the publishing process. Copy Editors must attend at least one of two training sessions held in spring semester. Copy editing primarily takes place in the Spring semester.
