Jam Arts is a collective of facilitators led by Ms. Jigyasa Taneja Sethi, who is the winner of the Dadasaheb Phalke award and a Regional Oscar nominee among many other things.

We are a group of skilled professionals and experts, curating a range of tailor-made workshops and programs to help you sharpen your skills in theatre, scriptwriting, videography, creative writing, and other holistic art-based workshops that propel personal development along with professional growth.

The programs and workshops we offer are tailor-made for every age and stage of life. We also use drama and media in the best way possible for expanding life skills from a young age.

Jam Arts presents to you a range of workshops and programs that are designed to enhance your life-skills with an international curriculum and techniques

Theatre Online with Jigyasa Taneja Sethi (International award-winning filmmaker) and a team of industry experts will help your child 'Express, Enjoy, and Evolve' in performances and creative thinking. The program will involve Voice exercises, Improvisation Games, Character Building, and Story Making, scene work, and exposure to international dramatic texts and cinema The course will allow the students to enhance their speech, expressions, imagination, and teamwork. The program also helps with confidence building, Lifeskills, emotional expression, and performance for the camera.

For ages 5-6, 6-10, 11-15

CREATIVE WRITING:

Creative writing is definitely an empowering tool that children enjoy immensely as they get immersed in giving words to their imagination, what matters to them, what affects them, and what inspires them.

In our classes creative thinking, critical analysis, and exposure to different styles of storytelling invigorate the children to innovate and share their stories on a regular basis, absorbing feedback constructively, improving their language skills, and presentation as well.

The program is unique as we bring together divergent techniques to keep the experimental and creative quotient high while also organizing written material and understanding effective communication and connections within the story and with readers or audience.

For ages 6-10, 11-15

JUNI SCRIPT WRITING:

Jam Arts brings together many art practices and forms to help cultivate the aesthetics and deep understanding of the story and its presentation

Juni was born out of a desire to bring forward different traditions and authentic stories and voices in India through effective tools learned from across the globe and of developing stories for the screen. There is a method to the madness and it's very empowering especially while penning down the big vision and new stories into screenplays.

Such training in the west empowered me to tell my authentic stories and through Juni, the aim is to empower many more voices all across India.
With writing as a strong basis new filmmakers and actors can come to the fore with more focus and confidence in the industry or as independent makers to create original content and impact globally.

Juni is a unique system of learning online and through personal interaction with experts so that each story develops is unique, nuanced, and detailed and the process becomes seamless and lifelong for the learners.

The approach is expansive, professional, and organized so as to keep the writers on track and moving forward.

VIDEO MAKING:

Write your own scripts, shoot, and edit under expert guidance from Industry Experts. Advanced editing, direction, and special effects-photoshop, illustrator, and Adobe Premiere.

Learn the tools, software, and skills to hone your script and shoot and edit your unique videos under JAM Arts guidance. This is a chance to learn all that goes into video-making from an award-winning filmmaker and educator through an international curriculum created by industry experts.

ONE ON ONE SESSIONS:

At Jam Arts we believe every kid is different in their own unique way, and in order to encourage this idea, we choose to cater to certain students individually. These one on one classes are available for kids between 6-15 years, with our head facilitator are spot-on for growth and improvement of children. The undivided attention boosts the focus and morale of those learning and helps them feel the attention they need. Jigyasa Sethi works on ensuring that the children she works with get the utmost care and guidance under her learning holistically. Video, Writing Programs basic, and advanced for ages 11+ and 18+ are also available.
 
Jigyasa is a screenwriter, director, public speaker, and educator with a body of work and students of all ages in India and the US. She personally works on enhancing language skills, writing skills, drama, and speech through creative mediums such as stories, books, and visuals. These one on one classes incorporate theatre, film, and art tools.

There are trial classes available and Ms.Jigyasa Sethi is also open to a consultation.
