Welcome to Student Voice!

We're an entirely youth-led team and community of students from all 50 states taking action to advance education justice in our schools and communities. Founded in 2012, Student Voice amplifies youth voices through student storytelling, creates a sustainable cycle of student organizing, and forms partnerships within educational institutions (schools, districts, government, etc) with students at the forefront.

We believe that in order to achieve equity and justice in our schools, power must be meaningfully shifted towards young people, especially those too often marginalized by our education system. We are so glad you're joining our community. Our power comes from each of you, working to make a difference in your schools.

Our Spring 2021 Learning Lab is focused on the ins and outs of "People, Power, and Policy Change." We'll learn all about how decisions are made at the state and local level that impact our educations, and how we can build student power for changes that make our schools and communities more equitable and just places.
