I have reviewed the guidelines below. My child has permission to participate in the Lockwood Science Fair on Tuesday, March 26, 2024. I will monitor all safety concerns related to this project. I realize the school is not liable for anything lost or broken. My child will bring a presentation board and project to THEIR CLASSROOM on the morning of May 9th.

Guidelines for Science Fair Projects
Investigate the world around you by testing a theory or observation, using the Scientific Method.
Make a display that explains what you did.
Please turn in your registration form to the classroom by April 12th. Your registration form indicates your intent to participate. It does not imply that the project is finished. You should register even if you are not sure yet what kind of project you will be doing.
Once you turn in this registration form, your teacher will give you a Presentation Board and a handout from the PTA with ideas to help jump start your science project.
Use drawings or photos to illustrate living, breakable, or potentially dangerous items used in the science project. Lockwood and the PTA are not responsible for lost or broken items.
Please no live animals.
NO liquids, powders, over-sized items or glass items can be taken on the school buses.
Projects need to be taken home the night of the science fair.
