Thank you for signing up for Absurd, we can't wait to have you on the show!
We’re looking for variety, comedy, circus, and magic acts, for our new cabaret panel show, running each day at 5:25 – 6:25pm at Roti on South Bridge!
Each act will have a quick 3-minute slot, and everyone will then get the chance to plug their own show. For the remainder of the show, the team captains and acts will compete in two teams in games and buzzer rounds.
The games will be silly and fun, with nothing taken too seriously, and will involve some level of audience participation and / or interaction.
None of the games will be too wild, and you are only expected to get involved with what you feel comfortable with.
The show is hosted by myself (Ava Beaux), with Kane & Abel as team captains. Due to the crazy costs of the fringe, we aren’t able to offer paid slots, though we will buy acts a drink at the end, no prep is needed (just rock up on the day), and we can promise you a hell of a lot of fun!
The show is pitched at a 14+ age guideline, but we have warned that it may contain strong language / swearing.
