Thank you for applying to be a Youth Leader for Camp fYrefly 2024. Camp will be held in person August 8th to 11th , 2024 at Trent University in Peterborough, Ontario.

This arts-based camp is for youth who identify as 2SLGBTQIA+ and who live in Ontario.

Being a Youth Leader is the most important role at camp and we take the selection of our leaders very seriously. At camp our Youth Leaders are the first point of contact with our campers. Please tell us as much as you feel comfortable sharing to help us get a sense of who you are and why you want to be part of this experience as we receive many more applications than we have positions to offer.

You will have your own room and all washrooms and change room spaces are non-gendered. This is a volunteer position and you will need to be able to commit to all training days and camp days. You will receive an honorarium for your work upon completion of camp and so much sparkly admiration you won't know what to do with it all!
