Nextfest 2SLGBTQQIA*+ Community Check-In
This virtual check-in is for anyone who is a part of the 2SLGBTQQIA*+ community to connect and share space in a safe environment. Grab your favourite hot morning beverage, some breakfast, or a blanket and curl up! Facilitated by Sare!

WHO: After spending their younger years filling notebooks with poetry, Sare uncovered a fascination with the energy created through live music and started finding a place for their poems through writing music of their own. Under the moniker Stem Champ, Sare makes punk-influenced anti-folk music about the weirdness of growing up and learning to be ok with who you’ve been and who you are.

As an avid live-music fan Sare has come to learn how important it is to see and hear yourself through the art you consume, and truly believes that should be the norm and not a comfort experienced by a few. Sare is curious to continue exploring building BIPOC community within music subcultures and spaces.

WHEN: Saturday June 12th  from 9:15-10:45AM MST

WHERE: Virtually on Zoom!
