First-Generation Peer Mentoring Program Application
Thank you very much for your interest in the First Generation Peer Mentor Program! Students that are accepted into the FGPMP must agree to meeting virtually with their mentor/mentee at least three times throughout the course of the fall 2020 semester, though meeting more often is welcomed and encouraged. In addition to 1-on-1 meetings, participants will have other obligations, including  attending at least two events hosted by First_Gen @ UMBC. Please note that only students who have been at UMBC prior to this semester can serve as a mentor. If you have additional questions, please contact Dr. M. Antonio Silas at silas@umbc.edu.

By submitting my digital signature, I am acknowledging that I understand that if selected to be in the program, I should be an active participant to the best of my ability. If I am selected and do not attend the required meetings and socials, I understand that I am taking someone else's spot in the program. I promise to fulfill the program requirements and regularly respond to communication from my mentee/mentor.
