IAUGA2022 BUSAN WiA WG session- Feedback form
Dear Colleagues,

The IAU WiA WG invites all the participants of the WiA WG Lunch session as well as 8th and 11th August presentation sessions at the IAUGA 2022 Busan meeting (https://iauwiaga.sciencesconf.org/program/details) to fill this online (short) form and provide your feedback on the session.

The main focus of the -
1- WiA WG Lunch session was to discuss and share thoughts on the question of gender distribution among the astronomy community.
2- 8th and 11th August sessions were to discuss- low recruitment rate of Women to Astronomers to permanent positions (> 21% worldwide), several challenges and problems faced globally by Women in Astronomy such as harassment (physical and mental), bullying, suppression of work, reduced job security, unfair working contracts, child and parental caring issues, support offered by the institutions and funding agencies, etc..

We  encourage you to participate in this 3 mins (max) survey on the WiA WG session and provide your valuable feedback so that we can organize future meetings taking into account your experiences and suggestions.


We equally encourage you to participate in the 3 (max) survey being carried out since January 2022 by the WiA WG on the Impact of Covid-19 pandemic on the career and productivity of Astronomers at the link-
