Westport Continuing Education, a division of Westport Public Schools, offers high school academic classes for credit over the summer. The courses take place at in-person Staples High School in Westport, CT. The Physical Education course is offered as a hybrid class in-person and online. The program is open to any student who can make the commitment. There is a fee for the program.

Each class offers the same material as a class offered during the school year, condensed into a 6, 4 or 2-week program. Summer Academic Courses give students the benefit of a smaller class size, gaining additional skills and experience for help with a college or career choice in the future. Summer courses also allow students to satisfy credit requirements in order to free up their schedule during the school year for other courses.

Please use this online form to begin registration. Completion of this form does not automatically register a student for a class. After submitting this form:

1) Students must obtain signatures certifying approval to register for the class from your curriculum coordinator (or equivalent at your school) and your guidance counselor (emails to Westport Continuing Ed conted@westportps.org are accepted).
2) PAYMENT will be collected online after the registration deadline, Friday, May 27.
- Parents will be notified by email to register online.
- You will need to complete the entire registration process and make the payment. Please make sure your student’s grade level is correct.
- Online Registration will be open to the students who qualify between May 31 - June 10.
