Here are some questions to help us get a better understanding of your new book. The first one is required. After that, there is a section about your characters and a just for fun section. You'll have the chance to choose a few questions from each. 

Please keep your answers to a paragraph or two at most due to space constraints. We reserve the right to shorten answers for length to keep within the 500 word limit for this feature. 

Having said that, this is a chance to let your personality and humor shine!
Why this book and why now? 
Authors can have hundreds of ideas for books, so why did you decide on this one, and what made this the right time to write it? Please share your inspiration!

What is a significant way your book has changed since either the first draft or the way you thought it would turn out when you first had the inspiration?
Would you and your main character(s) get along? Why, or why not?

Do your character names have special significance or meaning? 

Please answer TWO of the following questions:

What TV show would your main character(s) most likely binge watch and why? 

What’s your main character(s)'s favorite book and why? 

Aside from the obvious food and shelter, what 3 things would your main character want with them if they got stranded away from civilization, and why? (And no, you can't say a boat/car/airplane to escape!)

One of your main characters is planning a romantic night. Tell us about it. What do they do? This should NOT be a scene from the book, but something new. Even if there is no romance arc in your book, you can still answer this one if you'd like! (Because even a stoic space captain or a magical sorceress can have a hidden romantic side).

Publishing a book is a huge accomplishment and it's time to party! Choose a celebratory beverage for one of your main characters to toast the release of your new book! It can be beer, wine, a special cocktail, that turbo-charged latte with oat milk the other character teases them about mercilessly, or anything that reveals an interesting character trait. Please tell us why you chose it. Let us emphasize, this does not need to have alcohol in it. But if it's your signature cocktail and you want to provide a recipe, we're here for it!
What song does your character put on to start your book launch party? The song can relate to your book or to something special in your personal life. Just tell us why your character chooses it!
