The Middlesex-Elgin Chapter of the RNAO is looking to collect nursing stories from the pandemic. We want to hear about your working conditions, how you are feeling and coping, hardships you’ve faced working through the pandemic, and how this is impacting the people you care for. Tell us about a specific incident or a gradual change or shift over the pandemic and its effects. You do not need to be an RN or an RNAO member to submit a story. RPNs, PSWs, allied health workers, patients, family members are welcome to submit their story.
This collection is in response to our meetings with Middlesex-Elgin MPPs. Our
hope is to share these stories with our local MPPs and the media to bring more
attention to the issues in nursing right now.
This form is set up to be anonymous. We will not have any of your personal information if you complete this form. If you are willing to speak to us for potential follow up or with the media, there is a section at the bottom of the form where you can provide your contact information. This is completely voluntary, all stories are appreciated.
* We will exclude any stories that speak poorly of specific workplaces and organizations. If you choose to name your workplace, the name or story may be excluded. We are focusing on issues arising from the pandemic and systemic issues in nursing, not organization specific issues. Please do not include any patient or private information.
