**What is the Advisory Board?**

The cornerstone of FEC leadership is the community members and leaders who help co-design its space and offerings. The FEC Board is a collection of community members and leaders collaborating in the co-design of the FEC, and in the on-going operations of the FEC.

The advisory board provides guidance on FEC offerings and overall direction, and is representative of the community’s racial, ethnic, cultural, and faith groups, as well as the voices of youth and LGBTQ+ community members. Advisory board members will create opportunities for community members to support the FEC through co-design of offerings and space, and work to identify opportunities for community members to use their skills, interests, passions, and knowledge during the implementation of the FEC.

Advisory Board members will receive professional development opportunities, including training in Appreciative Inquiry (AI), and opportunities to build on existing leadership skills.
