Why small group projects?
The J Leaders’ small groups process uses project-based learning to re-enforce Academy concepts and skills for fellows. Small groups are a critical component of the Academy.
What are small group projects?
Groups of 4-5 fellows will select the community organizations they want to partner with. For this next year's Academy, small groups will organize an in-person or virtual event for Jewish young adults. Each small groups is asked to collaborate with one or more Jewish organizations who serve Jewish young adults. These events would be co-presented/co-hosted by your organization and J Leaders. The more community organizations interested in co-hosting, the better.
Process and Timeline:
We'll present the list of interested organizations to fellows at the beginning of the program. Small groups will be deciding on their event topic and who they want to collaborate with in the November - December period. Events will be held between January 15 and April 17, 2023.
Deadline to Express Interest in Co-hosting:The deadline for submissions is October 20, 2023. You can edit your submission after initial submission.
