TBIL Editorial Board 2024-25 Application
With the generous support of the National Science Foundation, we are able to offer a $2000 honorarium for each member serving on our new TBIL Editorial Board for the 2024-25 academic year. This board will have up to five Editors, who (as a whole) will be responsible for:
  • Meeting regularly via Zoom with Managing Editors Steven Clontz and Drew Lewis throughout the academic year
  • Editing and enhancing books and other resources in the TBIL Resource Library
  • Approving proposed changes made by volunteer contributors to the TBIL Resource Library
  • Finalizing two annual editions (2025 Early Edition in December and 2025 Edition in July) for each course in the TBIL Resource Library
We're seeking a Board that (as a whole) has experience across our offerings for Precalculus, Calculus, and Linear Algebra, has experience with the theory of our TBIL pedagogy, and experience with our sociotechnical infrastructure (e.g. GitHub, Slack) used to coordinate our distributed development of Library resources.
