2021 Homecoming Parade Entry
In order to participate in the Homecoming Parade you must complete and submit this form. The theme for homecoming this year is "There's No Place Like Homecoming." Try to INCORPORATE THE THEME into your entry. Depending on the weather forecast, the parade will be on Thursday, October 7th OR Friday, October 8th. The date will be determined on Monday, October 4th. An announcement will be made on the Marion High School Student Council Facebook and Twitter accounts as to which day the parade will be held. Adult supervision is required on all entries. TURN THIS FORM IN BY OCTOBER 1st, 2021.

- This is an opportunity for the students to have a high school activity. The parade is to be completely voluntary for all participants and spectators.
- Social distancing is still encouraged for participants and spectators.

Rules: Parade entries MUST be in line by 12pm. The parade will start at 1pm. When you arrive you should talk to one of the parade organizers and find your entry location. Participants ARE NOT ALLOWED to stand in the back of trucks or on trailers. All truck beds and trailers MUST have an adult present with students to ensure students remain seated and safe. When throwing the pre-packaged candy, it is the participants responsibility to throw it at a reasonable, safe speed so it does not injure a spectator. The candy bags should also be thrown away from vehicles so children cannot get struck by parade entries. *
