Develop your leadership skills!

The Foster Leadership Academy is a non-academic certification program, in partnership with UW Athletics, for current UW undergraduate students.

Engage in leadership experiences and reflect on your personal leadership journey. Connect with other students in your cohort, gain confidence, and improve transferable skills like problem-solving, giving and receiving feedback, and more. Complete the program requirements below for a leadership certificate for your resume.

This program focuses on the four pillars of Authentic Leadership:
- Moral and ethical perspective
- Transparency
- Balance processing
- Self awareness

Program Requirements:
 - Attend 4 workshops
 - Complete 2 Leadership Challenges
 - Submit reflections following workshops and challenges
 - Submit Final Project: Personal Leadership Reflection

Program Timing:
  - Takes place during winter and spring quarters
  - Events will be a mix of virtual and in person
  - Estimated total time commitment over 2 quarters, 10-15 hours.
