Through the collaborative efforts of the SLI team: Global Science and Envirotech (GSET), STEM Advantage, the Cranston YMCA, Ocean State Kidz Club, Park View Middle School Edgewood Highland, Rhodes Elementary Cranston Public Schools, and other partners throughout the city, we are happy to offer a 6 week in person and Hybrid STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) Explorer Center summer camp! 8th-12th grade students will choose to focus on environmental monitoring electronics, ROV’s and/or video production and have a schedule encompassing in person and hybrid camp options

GSET Explorer Center
At: 1370 Cranston Street (High school students) and in collaboration with Camp XL at Hugh B. Bain Middle School
Who can come? Any incoming 6th-12th graders
When: From 8am-3pm Monday through Friday June 20th to August 4th and August 11 for high school students; specific schedule will be made

What can you expect at GSET Explorer Center Summer Camp?
Small group projects and exploration
Monitoring electronics, design, build and test ROV’s and/or video production
Field studies and trips
Visits from other enrichment providers
Career and secondary education exploration

How much is camp?
Standard membership fee of $400 for the entire 6 weeks
