Gail Merrifield Papp in conversation w/ Studio Head Scott Freeman

If you don't know who Gail Papp is, you need to find out!  She had a front row seat to the historic founding and creative influence of The Public Theater, as well as an important role in guiding writers and creative artists.

Gail's book, the first memoir written about Joe Papp, Public/Private: My Life with Joe Papp at The Public Theater, has recently been published. It takes the reader behind the scenes of her 26-year working and married relationship with Joseph Papp. It also chronicles the creation of  Hair, A Chorus Line, The Normal Heart, and many others). She will chat with Scott about the book and her life [including a slideshow of personal photos] and take questions for the audience.
