2021-2022 UGL PTA Class Parent Form (K-5)
WHO CAN BE CONSIDERED FOR CLASS PARENT?
Any PTA member in good standing.

PARTY DETAILS
HOW MANY?  3 parties (Halloween, Winter & End of the Year).
WHAT’S NEEDED? a craft & game. (NO FOOD)

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
PTA MEETINGS: At least one class parents from each grade is expected to attend monthly PTA meetings. (8) (Sept, Oct, Nov, Dec, Jan, March, April, May)
TEACHER GIFTS: Class parents collect for teacher Holiday and End of the Year gift.
FIELD DAY: Class parents are asked to fill water balloons for Field Day which benefit the Scholarship fund. We strongly recommend having a few parents help to split up the work.

CAN SIBLINGS COME TO THE EVENTS?
Unfortunately, no siblings are allowed to attend classroom parties..

OTHER INFORMATION
WHO IS CHOSEN: Any PTA member in good standing. Those who haven’t been Class Parent before or in the prior year will be chosen 1st.  You can chose which of the three parties you would like to lead.
MONEY FOR PARTIES: Monetary donations are collected & a budget for each party is provided.
REIMBURSEMENT: Save receipts to be submitted for reimbursement.  Receipts cannot exceed class budget.
Funds cannot be used for teacher gifts.
DONATIONS: Parents may be asked if they are willing to donate supplies i.e. craft supplies.
Class parents will be asked to post things to their class page
