UCLA School of Dentistry Pre-Dental In Person Shadow Days! (Winter Quarter)
What is a Shadow Day?

Shadow Days are one day where you, as a pre-dental student, can shadow the dental students and find out more about UCLA School of Dentistry. Please make sure you're signing up as an individual, even if you are part of a larger pre-dental club/society.

This will include a student lecture, where D1s talk about all things getting into UCLA School of Dentistry, how to study for the DAT, what dental experience they gained before dental school and more.

Then there is a lunch Q&A with UCLA dental students where you can ask all your burning questions about the school and what their experience is as a student. Lunch is provided!

Next, we will have a hands-on impressions workshop where you can practice your alginate impression skills as a future dentist!

Then, we have a Q&A session with D1s, D2s, and Dr. Lee, the Associate Dean of Student Services. He is an incredible resource on admissions, personal statements and what the admissions look for in a great UCLA SOD applicant.

Raffle of UCLA Dentistry merchandise!

Finally, you will also be given a tour of the campus by current UCLA dental students.

Please fill out the following form if you are interested in attending our in-person Shadow Days on February 17th and March 3rd. Please note that our in-person Shadow Days are generally held from 12pm-5pm PST but may change. If you are selected to attend, we will contact you to confirm your registration/date and send you further details! PLEASE NOTE THERE WILL BE A NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT OF $20 REQUIRED TO RESERVE YOUR SPOT ONCE YOU CONFIRM YOUR ATTENDANCE WITH US. This deposit will go to providing lunch and materials for the workshop. We will notify you if more Shadow Day dates open up in the coming quarter.
