These Work Groups are for schools that have previously engaged with the Teaching for Mastery programme, either through the previous Development/Embedding/Sustaining pathway or as a host school for a Secondary Mastery Specialist during their training period.
Our Teaching for Mastery Work Groups next year will offer opportunities to:
- Continue to develop your understanding of the five big ideas of teaching for mastery
- Continue to develop your understanding of the essence of teaching for mastery
- Exemplify further what teaching for mastery looks like in practice in your classroom & your department
- Explore ways in which you can build collaborative practice in your department
- Observe mastery specialists in action in their classroom
We plan to create regional work groups for the next academic year, once the allocations are completed, we will share planned dates.
There will be additional provision for any individual participants completely new to the ideas of teaching for mastery.
