CPCO AQ Subsidy Application Form 2023
CPCO, together with OPC and ADFO, and in partnership with the Ministry of Education, is offering a limited number of subsidies for eligible candidates upon meeting identified criteria and successful completion of any of the following:
  • Principal’s Qualification Program (PQP) Part 1 and Leadership Practicum - $300 subsidy
  • Any of the modules offered as part of the Principal Development Course AQ - $300 subsidy
  • Special Education for Administrators AQ - $900 subsidy (for Principals, Vice-Principals and Aspiring Teacher Leaders who have successfully completed at least PQP Part 1)

Today, aspiring and positional leaders need to lead in culturally responsive ways in order to reduce barriers to student success - and this is especially true for students with special needs. The moral imperative is to lead so that Catholic schools, K-12, guided by faith, are characterized by anti-oppressive and anti-colonial environments, accessibility and inclusion, and participation so that all students can reach their potential.

Subsidies are currently available to AQ candidates who registered for sessions beginning the Spring of 2022, until exhausted.

PLEASE NOTE: If a candidate’s practicum proposal has already been approved by an instructor, it cannot  be changed to align with this subsidy opportunity.

Subsidies will be awarded on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE BASIS.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS YEAR'S SUBSIDIES, CANDIDATES MUST:
  1. FIRST REGISTER for any of CPCO's PDC AQ modules, PQP Pt 1 or SEA AQ, within timelines listed above and pay the full tuition;
  2. Complete this subsidy application form;

  6. For year 2 consideration, the completed practicum must be submitted for assessment by March 15, 2024.

In order to receive the subsidy reimbursement, there is no action required on the part of the candidate.
