Thanks for your interest in becoming a KRA DJ!  

KAOS Radio Austin is a completely volunteer, not-for-profit, free form, renegade radio station.  Our pirate radio roots date back to 2001 when KAOS Radio rose up to meet the demands of a community that cherished the music, art and culture that our first amendment rights bring all of us.  Today we invite you to potentially become part of that tradition.

This is necessary because we do the majority of our communication on Facebook -- including individual chat messenger, through the closed DJ group KAOS Takin' Care of Business, and more. It is also a big part of show and station promotion. If you don't have a personal FB let us know so we can work out other arrangements.

You are not required to be in Austin to do either of these, there are remote methods which with the proper equipment you can access the station.  Many of our shows are pre-recorded, uploaded and then set to air at the designated time, you do not have to do a live broadcast.
Preferred Time Slot *
We have a variety of times available to slot in new, hosted programming. We will work with you directly to secure your slot time this is just to give us some idea of your preference based on current potential openings in the schedule.
Do you have equipment ? *
Generally, this would be a computer with internet access and an audio management program, a good microphone, a music library of your own, etc.
Do you have any other interests or skills asides from being a DJ on the station that could benefit KRA? *
