Wszystkie warsztaty odbywać się będą w ścisłym centrum miasta, max 15 minut piechotą od Dworca PKP.
Główne imprezy Festiwalu odbywać się będą poza centrum miasta, około 15 minut jazdy samochodem. Sobotnia impreza jest w Chorzowie, ale to miasto sąsiaduje z Katowicami.

[All workshops will take place in the city center, a maximum of 15 minutes on foot from the Railway Station. The main parties of the Festival will take place outside the city center, about 15 minutes by car. POZIOMY | LEVELS

W tym roku przewidzieliśmy 3 poziomy zajęć Lindy Hop: Advance, Intermediate/Advance oraz Intermediate. O przydziale do grup decyduje Audition. Dla tych, którzy nie chcą brać udziału w Audition przewidzieliśmy możliwość zapisania się do grupy Intermediate.
Poziom Intermediate: poziom dla osób, które tańczyły w rytmikach na 6 i na 8, miały styczność z Lindy Hop na warsztatach lub zajęciach i chcą zdobyć nową wiedzę.

[This year we have planned 3 levels of Lindy Hop classes: Advance, Intermediate/Advance and Intermediate. Audition will decide about group allocation. For those who do not want to participate in the Audition, we have provided the opportunity to sign up for the Intermediate group. Intermediate level: level for people who danced in rhythmics on 6 and 8, had contact with Lindy Hop during workshops or classes and want to gain new knowledge.]

Get your feet off the ground and fly into the world of lifts and tricks. Marta and Alexey will show you creative solutions inspired by the old clips in different tempos. During this extra track we will dance in fixed couples.

Enjoy swing out variations known all around or new ones to add some flavour to your dancing!

MARTA & ALEXEY | SAT 16:00 - 17:30 | Musicality Workshop | Level: Int/Adv
Music is the most important source of inspiration when improvising. Our musicality workshop will encourage you to explore the world of steps and shapes inspired by riffs. Meet musicians, their instruments and discover how your body can express their musical ideas while dancing.

ELLE | SAT 16:00 - 17:30 | Solo Jazz Jam | Level: Intermediate Solo Track
This class will take inspiration from old clips and will involve both short choreographies as well as some fun improv exercises!

JORIS | SAT 16:00 - 17:30 | Hot Charleston Steps | Level: Advanced Solo Track
Let's shine the light on: Classic steps, Joris steps, and Your steps!

ELLE & JORIS | SUN 11:00 - 12:30 | Storytelling Through Dance | Level: OPEN
Individual identity, self expression and playfulness are key elements central to African American dances. We all have something unique to bring to the floor, to share and create with others whilst still remaining true to the roots of Lindy Hop. Joris and Elle will facilitate this creative process through fun exercises, and are excited to see what the class can build, jam and inspire together.

Feeling bored of doing the same moves again and again? Change things up a bit and find new ways how to surprise your partner!

Class inspired by old clips, focus on understanding of movements, working on skills and preparing classes/workshops.
