Nominations Now Open for Players seeking selection in the Trial PVL Season 2024!
If you're an experienced player who's keen to get involved in the trial season of our new Premier League, then nominate today to be included in the Selection process.

PLAYING POSITIONS: It is important that you select your 2 preferred positions to be selected to play, so that the team Captains can build their roster with confidence and also some flexibility if they understand your abilities.

CAPTAINCY: If you would like to lead a team then please complete this section below.  You can also request to lead and be mentored in doing so.  

SELECTION: In 2024, the captains will conduct a player draft to ensure that all teams have evenly distributed skills in all positions, to create a competitive league.

Note: As this is a Trial Season, we seek your assistance in being flexibile with discussions and decisions regarding delivery and roles in the League.  We're working hard to make sure it is smooth for all involved, and a highly competitive season also.  Everything we learn from this year will ensure our formal launch in 2025 is outstanding!

Captains will be asked to lead their team:
- alongside other captains, participate in the player selection proces
- consider training needs for their team, identify skill / offence or defence/ other areas requiring coaching assistance
- liaise with HV coaches about coaching support at sessions, or running a training session tailored to their team
- lead teams with communicating training and game schedule
- conduct usual in-match responsibilities

Acceptance of Offer to Play *
Once Player Nominations close on 5th March, captains will conduct the Player Draft and Team Selections.  

All players  who nominate for selection will be contacted to advise if they have been selected in a team.  Those successful players will be invited to accept an offer to play and pay PVL Player Levy, before commencing training on 7th May.  

There is no minimum or maximum requirement for team numbers, and it is the Captains' discretion on how many players are on each team's roster this season which features a small number of matches.
