In the heart of the coming winter, you're invited into the heart of the Sonoran Desert for a Storytelling retreat to nourish your own creative heart. The Stories from Here Creative Restoration Retreat occurs twice in 2024: February 1st - 5th in Tubac, and February 18th - 22nd in Tucson. **Please note that the Tubac Retreat is sold out. **

This retreat is for people who'd like to spend a few days giving attention to the stories they most want to tell-- whether in print, in performance, in organizing, teaching or leadership-- and replenishing their creative life-force. Each day holds a morning workshop with Janna (these have a gentle pace, and are filled with laughter-filled games and generative creative exercises that spark inspiration, increase awareness, and strengthen clarity and confidence in telling the truths you most want to tell). Each day also holds a match-made partner session focused on each person's creative work, three healthy, beautiful meals, an evening story circle, and open time to write, rest, swim, roam, listen, and be nourished by the land. There is a good balance of structured and unstructured time. A sample schedule is below. 

Both sessions are limited to 12 people in order to host a small, diverse cohort with a wide range of experiences and a creative chemistry that will deeply benefit everyone. This means there is something of a selection process, but nothing rigorous. If you've attended before, you're welcome again. If you've been invited, you're invited.
