Annual MLK Community Tefillah | Monday Jan. 20
Monday, January 20, 2020
8:45AM-9:30AM
Beit Rabban East Campus (15 W. 86)
We are delighted that you are joining us for our annual celebratory tefillah experience in honor of MLK Day. This special tradition is a wonderful way to share in tefillah with our children and to mark the legacy of Dr. King as a community. Your presence will help elevate our communal experience!
This communal tefillah is an intergenerational experience that includes many, but not all, prayers in a soulful and reflective atmosphere. Please note that this tefillah experience will not be a formal minyan with Torah reading. All prayers sung together will be projected on a screen, and you can also bring your own siddur if you like. There will be time for tefillah b'lachash (quite prayer) during which participants can say a full Amidah. All should feel free to dress however makes them comfortable- including tefillin and/or tallit if you wish.
