Reading Group: Culturally Responsive Teaching for Multicultural Learners
A partnership of the CTI, the Office of Inclusive Excellence, and the Library, this reading group will read the book Culturally Responsive Teaching for Multilingual Learners: Tools for Equity. An opportunity to deepen our practice and learn how we can authentically support multilingual learners in our classes, we are hoping it will serve as a resource, guide and jumping off point to talk about equitable teaching, and how we can best serve SSU's multilingual learners. All faculty and staff welcome to participate. Participants will receive a free copy of the book.

We will meet Wednesday, January 4th and 11th 3-4:15 pm via Zoom.

With only two live meetings, we're thinking of opening up an online discussion about the book starting in December. Would you be interested in participating?

To help us better prepare to facilitate the group, briefly - what brings you to this group? What do you hope to get out of it?
Any questions for us, or is there anything you need to help make these workshops more accessible to you (examples: large font on slides, transcription on Zoom, interpretation etc.)?
Where did you hear about this group?
