SAM Graduation Volunteer Needs
We have multiple volunteer positions that are integral in making SAM Graduation a successful event! Please fill out the form below to let us  know where you would be most comfortable helping. It is important that every teacher who has students graduating submits this form and their volunteer preferences. Help be a part of this wonderful event that celebrates all the students in our SAM community!

Volunteer opportunities are:

Leading a piece:
This includes leading a piece at the Graduation concert and running a short rehearsal/group class centered on that piece/level before the concert. Information on each instrument's concert time in on the website. Students will be group by instrument and general level. Levels/instruments with few graduates may be combined for a good experience. You will know ahead of time what to expect.

Help tuning instruments:
This would be at rehearsals and backstage at the concert for any larger groups. You would assist tuning at the rehearsal for a certain level and be available backstage to help with any tuning needs. Mostly needed for violin groups.

Help with directions:
Help direct students/families to rehearsal areas prior to each concert. Probably needed around an hour before each concert starts.

Set up/Clean up:
Help with general set up and trophy set up (around 8am or so). Or assist with clean up after violin recitals. Coordinator would make sure to schedule teachers to assist around the concert their instrument is participating in.
