The theme “Indigenous Voices” embodies the unique variation of cultures the Native American student body here at Weber State University represents. Indigenous voices exhibits the ways we express ourselves in our unique languages, dances, and ceremonies.

As Native American scholars attending WSU, we celebrate our ancestral heritage and our communal voices through sharing our cultural heritage in the forms of dancing, singing, and storytelling. It is important for the voices of the Native American scholars at WSU to be heard, appreciated, and valued. By sharing our ancestral knowledge through the events we host, we hope to captivate the richness of our cultures and showcase a united front through “Indigenous Voices."
