Thank you for your interest in joining the NT Writers Festival Volunteer Team!

The 2021 NT Writers Festival will take place from 26-29 August in the Olive Pink Botanic Gardens, with a few events and workshops to be held in other venues around Alice Springs. Each year we are blessed to have a wonderful team of volunteers who give their time and energy to help create a successful festival.

For most people, our volunteers are the face of the festival, and the extraordinary work of our volunteer team is a major part of our Festival’s success. Writers Festival volunteers are friendly, professional, and always willing to help; basically, they are the glue that holds the festival together!

To show our appreciation, volunteers who complete at least four hours of work receive free entry to three festival events of their choice.

Please fill out the questionnaire below to give us an idea of your availability, the number of hours you would like to volunteer for, and any specific skills, experience or other preferences you may have. Please note that completing this form does not mean you have automatically been accepted as a volunteer. Once you have submitted this form, our volunteer coordinator will be in touch to discuss rostering and your suitability for different roles.
