The Reimagining Safety and Justice Cohort (RSJC) is a learning and action program for Chicago-based anti-violence workers who are ready to develop and implement transformative, community-rooted responses to violence.

What to Expect After You Apply:
Once we receive your application, a member of our team will reach out to schedule a one-on-one conversation. This brief call is an opportunity to:

  • Learn more about you and your work

  • Answer any questions you may have

  • Go over shared goals, roles, and commitments for the cohort

  • Discuss your initial ideas for a project (no pressure—it can be early-stage!)

  • Talk through logistics and what support might be helpful for you

The RSJC is a learning and planning program for anti-violence workers committed to supporting non-carceral (no policing), community-based, survivor-led interventions. In two sentences, share why you think this work is important and needed. *

The RSJC will include 5 in-person sessions 10am-3pm on July 12th. Aug 9th. Sept 13th. Oct 11th, Nov 9 and Dec 13th. We will also convene a 90 min virtual check-in session the last week of each month as a way to support your learning and planning.  *
