It is August 1930, the Miskatonic University of Arkham, Massachusetts is hosting a field trip to the community of Cobb's Corners, Vermont. This is a cultural and scientific expedition to explore the area. Students will have a chance to study modern anthropology by interviewing residents of the community, or they can explore the geography and geology of the surrounding landscape. Participation will count as extra credit for the appropriate courses moving into the fall semester.
Gossip surrounds this expedition. During the previous summer of 1929, the University sent a similar group to Cobb's Corners. The expedition ended in tragedy. Now, one year later another group of students travel to the small Vermont community. Will the expedition go as planned? Will the mystery surrounding last year's tragedy be uncovered? More importantly, will a similar tragedy befall this expedition?
A Time to Harvest is a Call of Cthulhu 7th ed. Campaign that is set in 1930s Vermont.
An end of the summer expedition is where the Investigators begin this campaign. Players will create characters using standard Call of Cthulhu 7th ed rules. Investigators will also use Student Templates from A Time to Harvest to further create their characters.
GM Notes:
I try to be a fair Keeper (GM), it is important to note that this is an Investigative Horror game. There are aspects of the campaign that deal with mature subject matter. This game is much more mystery and social interactions and is recommended for older teens.
