At Sequence, we are very aware that it can feel challenging to navigate the environment in which we are living today. Between the latest news headlines, social movements, and political events there is so much to think about.
One of the things we love most about what we do is supporting amazing organizations who take on the difficult work of making the world a better place. It is on all of us to contribute to these greater efforts and Sequence is passionate about our role in the fight. With that, we pledge a contribution to help at least one organization every year by providing free consulting services* for an upcoming fundraiser or awareness event (virtual, in-person, or hybrid).
It can be easy to get caught up in the bottom line of business, but we all want our work to mean more at Sequence. We are so proud to have a team who is ready, willing and able to put this effort. We can’t fix all the world’s problems, but that’s not going to stop us from trying!
Join us by nominating any deserving organization which meets any of these criteria (does not have to be all):
Founded & operated by people from historically marginalized communities
First-time utilizing an events agency, especially due to budget restrictions
Funds and other services directly benefit underprivileged individuals or communities, and other profound causes
Event centered on fundraising, community building, and / or awareness
We’ve polled our team and here are just a few example causes which our team is most passionate about (in no particular order):
Gun Control
Black Lives Matter
LGTBQ+ Equality
Women’s Rights
Sustainability and protecting the planet
And many, many more (Please! We love being introduced to new initiatives!!)
Sequence’s consulting scope of work will include:
Lending strategic best practices to the KPI’s of your event
Creating a fully comprehensive event timeline
Building and consulting on an event budget
Creating a comprehensive checklist of event needs
This initiative is about amplifying, raising up and benefiting organizations which directly empower, protect, and enrich historically marginalized communities (e.g. BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, Hispanic and Latinx, AAPI, Immigrants/Refugees, Unhoused individuals, etc.).
*Any additional event expenses that fall outside of the agreed upon scope of services will be charged at cost to the client, only with their prior consent.
