The Colts Online Learning Academy (or COLA) is continuing for the 2022-2023 school year. We are requesting every student interested in participating next year completes the COLA registration form.  The COLA option allows students to work from home completing schoolwork online at their own pace.  These students are Cloverleaf students and will earn a Cloverleaf diploma.  COLA students will be able to participate in all extracurricular activities offered by Cloverleaf.  COLA requires a minimum of 5.5 hours of online work per day to stay on track and to complete classwork in a timely manner.  Official attendance is taken regularly and counts towards a student's permanent records.

Things to consider:

● Spots are limited. Choosing that you would like to participate does not ensure you a spot in the COLA for the 2022-2023 school year.

● Once enrolled, the program should be considered a semester-long commitment. Please keep in mind that COLA course pacing does not always match exactly what is happening in the face-to-face classroom.

● COLA participants are Cloverleaf students and may participate in any and all sports or extracurricular activities including field trips.

● To be successful in COLA, students are required to work online for a minimum of 5.5 hours per day or 27.5 hours per week.  

● COLA is not for everyone. While some students thrive in the online environment and do very well, some find the demand for self-discipline and lack of in-person instruction alienating and frustrating.

● Students who have been unsuccessful in the COLA program may be denied enrollment for the upcoming school year.

● Participation in the program will require students and parents to attend an informational meeting (yet to be scheduled).

● COLA students are required to meet ALL graduation requirements, including taking all required End-Of-Course exams and other assessments required by the school district or state.
