Ride to the Polls! | Ride & Escort Request | Washington County, AR
Thank you for reaching out to request a ride or escort to the polls! In March, a few of our friends were called on to assist driving folks to the polls. For this November election, we wanted to do our best to work together and create a system for Washington County that folks could rely on.

This also goes without saying that we are in a pandemic and we recognize that Washington County is a hot spot for our state. We take your vote and health seriously. Should you feel that your safety and health are being compromised, we will do our best to assist you.

A small packet will be emailed to you 24-48 hours before your driver picks you up. In brief,
• You will receive the name of your driver, their car information, and phone number.
• You will be briefly screened for any Covid19 symptoms (fever, cough, etc.) and sign a liability form.
• How to contact your driver when you’re ready to be picked up from the voting location
• There will be no more than 6 passengers within the driver’s vehicle throughout your scheduled day.
• The vehicle will be driving with windows down and will be disinfected before and after your pick-up and drop-off.

YOU MAY NEED TO REQUEST OTHER MODES OF TRANSPORATION SHOULD YOU:

• Currently be experiencing symptoms of Covid19
• Are experiencing the symptoms of Covid19 the week of your scheduled pick-up
• Please do get tested at least four days before your scheduled pick-up.
