CCM Liturgy Interest
The Liturgy is living in the heart of the Church. Welcome and thank you for your interest in serving as a Liturgical Minister. I've included some information about each opportunity to serve

Lector: The Lector shares the sacred Word of God with our community during Holy Mass

Sacristan: The Sacristan helps prepare the altar for Holy Mass and makes sure the sanctuary is prepared for the celebration of the Eucharist

Eucharistic Minister: EMs bring the Eucharist to our community at Holy Mass

Altar Server: Altar servers assist the Priest during Holy Mass

If your interested in serving, but don't have training yet don't worry we will work with you to provide training!

Anything else you would like us to know? Questions or comments about serving and the liturgy?

Thank you for your YES JESUS to serve the Lord in the Liturgy. As part of this “Yes”, there are certain expectations and responsibilities that we ask of you. These include:

Checking the schedule (which can be located under pinned messages in the Slack Liturgy channel)

Either sending a message to the Liturgy channel or directly to one of the Liturgy Coordinators regarding availability for a scheduled conflict/unavailability 3 days prior to scheduled date

Arriving 15 minutes before mass starts on days scheduled to serve

Wearing appropriate attire when scheduled to serve (examples of inappropriate attire include tank tops, t-shirts with inappropriate designs, shorts, short skirts, flip-flops)

Treating the sacristy with respect (not making it a hangout spot or a study room)

And of course, treating fellow members of the Liturgy team with respect.

By checking the box below, you agree to honor these expectations and responsibilities.
