This survey aims to gain a broad and preliminary overview over commonly used tools in Software Engineering Education. We ask you to help us to get insights about the programming languages, development approaches, software tools, platforms, and ways of communication that are currently used by students and educators while learning and teaching software development.

This survey is an early part of an ongoing research project at the University of Regensburg. We are working towards a better adaption and utilization of professional tools within computer science and engineering programs.
