Oxygen is a youth work charity which was established by young people in 1999. It purpose is to identify and respond to the needs of young people in and around Kingston and Richmond to improve their lives. You can find out about Oxygen here:
Oxygen has been asked by Achieving for Children to gather feedback from young people who have been affected by crime in the local area. Young people have helped to construct this survey. We want to understand young people's experience of any engagement with the Police and the Youth Justice System and seek ways to improve its effectiveness in working to tackle offending, reduce crime and improve safety in the borough. We are also conducting 1-2-1 interviews and focus groups to gather information.
We are interested in your views and opinion about your experience and ask that you take a few of minutes to respond to some questions. We want to find out what could be done to improve systems, processes and the experience for young people so that they have better outcomes in the future. The aim is to provide every opportunity for young people to fulfil their full potential, despite the mistakes or wrong choices they may have made in the past.
We recognise that we might be asking you about a difficult time in your life. If you are concerned or nervous about completing the form and would prefer to talk to someone then please email
info@oxygen-online.org with your contact details and a member of the Oxygen team will be in touch.
