All-Options supports people in all their decisions, feelings, and experiences with pregnancy, parenting, abortion, and adoption. We are guided by reproductive justice values and believe every person should be able to make the decisions that are right for them, without judgment or restriction.
In Indiana, All-Options provides direct support for Hoosiers including abortion funding, diapers and supplies, condoms, pregnancy tests, and period products, and we organize and advocate for abortion access and reproductive justice. We're thrilled that you want to get involved!
First question: Are you looking for an occasional volunteer opportunity, or a longer term commitment?
We need people who can show up from time to time to help out with projects or show up at rallies and events, AND we need people who want to dedicate a few hours every week to be a core part of our programs or organizing team. Whatever you can do, we have a role for you!
Occasional volunteers might volunteer monthly, quarterly, or as needed for a few hours at a time. We have lots of projects that need your help, including:
- coming to our Center in Bloomington once a month to help pack and organize diaper boxes, period products, or care packages for after-abortion, pregnancy loss, and sexual health
- attending events or rallies in your community and helping to spread the word about All-Options by tabling or handing out flyers
- joining our Activist Squad and advocating with policymakers in your area and at the statehouse
Interns and long-term volunteers commit at least 5-10 hours per week for a full semester or season, and take a bigger role with more responsibility. For example, you might:
- train to become a Volunteer Case Manager with our Hoosier Abortion Fund and work shifts to take calls and texts from people seeking abortion care
- work at the Center in Bloomington every Wednesday to prepare and distribute diapers and other essential supplies to local families
- take a lead role in our Activist Squad and work closely with our Indiana Organizing Manager to organize people in your community or on your campus
