Gateway Homeschool Vendor Application
Ready to become a Gateway Vendor? Gateway Academy provides each student with an educational stipend that may be used to provide for support services (e.g. tutoring) and extracurricular activities (e.g. music lessons) from approved Gateway Vendors. To begin the application process please complete the following form. Once your application is received Gateway will contact the applicant within 2-3 business days via email with the next steps in the Gateway Vendor application process.
Potential Vendors must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
Gateway Academy has three requirements for all vendors who wish to provide services
and activities to Gateway students.
1. Completed application. Each potential vendor must submit an application that includes general information (name, address, email,etc.), the proposed service or activity offered, and the applicant's qualifications for providing the proposed service or activity.
2. Background Checks: All vendors must complete a background check through the Department of Justice. Proof of DOJ clearance can be done using the Gateway Live Scan Vendor form, or if your organization is an “Authorized Agency” with the DOJ, you must provide documentation of DOJ COR approval authorizing you to conduct employee background checks. All fees and expenses associated with completing the Live Scan process will be the responsibility of the applicant.
3. Liability insurance. You are required to show proof of general liability insurance. If you provide physical activities (i.e. sports, horseback riding, etc) your policy must also include Gateway Academy to be a Certificate Holder and an Additional Insured. The policy must carry a $1 million per occurrence liability coverage.
