This class is for queer and transgender people and allies. How do you identify? *

What gender pronouns do you go by? (i.e. she/her, they/them, he/him, ze/hir, etc) *

This class meets 6 - 8 pm Pacific Time (US) on Wednesdays. Where are you located (city & state/province), and what time zone are you in? *

How did you hear about this group? (Ex. My friend Mary Smith, Yelp, a flyer at Peet's Cafe...) *

This class welcomes people who are totally new to songwriting and people who have written songs before. What, if any, experience do you have with songwriting? Do you have any other creative writing experience? *

For this class it is recommend (but not required) that you be able to sing a simple song and play an instrument at the same time, or create your own beats/backing tracks. What instrument(s) and/or software will you be using to make music? *

What access needs or requests you would like me to be aware of?

Classes will be: June 30th, July 7th, July 14th, July 21st, July 28th, August 11th, August 18th, August 25th, and September 1st. Please note that there is no class the week of August 4th. We'll have an informal final performance online on September 1st. If you miss a class I ask that you watch the class recording before the next session. What, if any, dates do you know you in advance that you will have to miss? *

The class fee is on a sliding scale and payment is due in two installments: 50% as a deposit to hold your spot when you register, and the remaining 50% on the first day of class. Participants may also request a payment plan to break their payment up into more installments. Please choose the rate that best reflects your situation. Please note, I need most people to choose the Payer Forward level or above in order to cover my expenses and pay myself a living wage. *

Redistributor: $450 (Unlimited Spots) - Consider paying at this level if one or more of the following apply: You are comfortably able to meet your basic needs, own a newer car and/or a home or rent a higher end property, have access to financial savings, have reliable work or do not need to work to meet your needs, have investments, can afford to travel every year, have expendable income.

Payer Forward: $350 (Unlimited Spots) - Please Note: This is the level I need most people to choose in order to cover my expenses and pay myself a living wage. Consider paying at this level if one or more of the following apply: you sometimes stress about meeting basic needs but still regularly achieve them, are able to buy some new items and thrift others, can travel every couple/few years without burden, have some debt but it does not prevent access to basic needs/wants.

Sustainer: $250 (4 Spots) - Consider paying at this level if one or more of the following apply: have very limited expendable income, are unemployed or have unstable employment but are still able to meet basic needs, have little or no access to savings or financial support from family, have higher debt that requires some sacrifices on needs/wants.

Pay What You Can: $90 - $200 (2 Spots) - Two pay-what-you-can spots are available in this class. Priority is given to folks who identify as Black, Indigenous, and/or People of Color, trans women and trans femmes, people raised working class or poor, and people with disabilities. Please consider this option only if you struggle to meet your basic needs and paying would be a significant hardship.
